Do not pluck or wax the hair for at least 2–3 weeks before the treatment; you may only trim or shave so the hair is at least 2–3 mm long on the day of the procedure. Ensure your skin is well-hydrated by drinking plenty of water. Avoid caffeine on the day of your appointment, as it can increase skin sensitivity.

Most clients experience a mild stinging or warming sensation. However, pain tolerance is highly individual. For more sensitive areas (like the upper lip), a numbing cream can be applied before the session to make the process as comfortable as possible.

The number of visits varies based on the treated area, hair density, and previous hair removal methods. Electrolysis only destroys hair in its active growth phase (anagen). Since hair grows in different cycles, the procedure must be repeated several times to achieve perfectly smooth skin.

Immediately after the procedure, the skin may be red or slightly swollen, which is a normal reaction. For the first 24–48 hours, keep the area clean and dry. Avoid direct sunlight, swimming pools, saunas, and do not apply any makeup or perfumed cosmetics to the treated area.
